El mejor de los tres, para culminar la saga. Hacía mucho que un libro no me hacía sentir tan contrariada, un wtf cada vez que pasas de página... Le doy 5 estrellas porque no hay 6.

The best of the three installments to culminate the saga. It's been a long time since a book made me feel so upset, a wtf every time you turn the page... I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't give it 6.

This is a new challenge for Detective Sam Porter: new murders linked to the 4MK killer are discovered, connected to long-term missing child. The investigation unravels a dark past of family secrets and childhood traumas. Also Porter is haunted by his previous encounters with the 4MK.

Advertencia razonable - original title: Fair Warning (Jack McEvoy, #3; Harry Bosch Universe, #34) by Michael Connelly

Últimamente, me he topado bastante con el concepto "incel" o los "celibato involuntario", pero viendo que esta novela es de 2020, me reafirmo en que Michael Connelly es un referente en cuanto a temática de denuncia social, y aquí lo plasma divinamente a través del periodista Jack McEvoy y su trabajo en el Fair Warning (Advertencia Razonable, en inglés), periódico online (existente en la vida real) que saca a la luz abusos o vulneraciones a los derechos a los consumidores y las consumidoras.

Esta entrega se centra en la problemática del uso y venta de la información privada, obviamente sin consentimiento ni conocimiento de la clientela de las empresas que lo gestionan. Concretamente, en resultados de análisis de ADN que acaban en manos de un grupo de misóginos descerebrados que utilizan los datos de mujeres con predisposición genética al riesgo (como al consumo de drogas o al  sexo), utilizando esta información para localizarlas y aprovecharse de ellas, incluso llegando a matar.

La novela tiene un buen ritmo y no te deja indiferente, haciéndote reflexionar sobre qué harán las empresas con toda la información que les damos de forma ¿in?voluntaria. Una historia verdaderamente recomendable.

Esta es la entrega n.º 33 de universo Harry Bosch y el 3º del periodista Jack McEvoy, pero no temáis, se puede leer como novela independiente, aunque recomiendo leer las dos historias anteriores de Jack para no espoileártelas si quieres leerlas después.
